July 30, 2008 at the
New Maryland Village Office, the Mayor of the village, Frank Dunn made a
special presentation to Katie Campbell in recognition of her Silver Medal
performance at the Canadian National Karate Championship, and for her placement
on the National Junior team that will be competing in Santiago Chile this
September. On Katie's left is her instructor Don Mazerolle sensei, and on her
right is His Worship Mayor Dunn. |
On the week of Sept 1
to 8th, Don attended the Junior Pan American Karate Championships in Santiago
Chile, where he was upgraded to Pan American kata Judge A and Kumite Referee A.

At the 2007 Tsuruoka
National Karate Tournament held on October 26 and 27, 2007, in Kelowna, British
Columbia, 13 members of the Oscar Leger Karate School competed, bringing home
19 medals in different categories. The following people listed on the attached
