Results of the Dan testing by O'Sensei Tsuruoka on May 4, 2008 in Moncton. on the picture left to right, the following students from Oscar Leger Karate School in Moncton were graded: Marcel Cormier (Shodan) Wayne Trites (Godan) Doug Atkinson (Godan) Stephane Theriault (Shodan) July 30, 2008 at the New Maryland Village Office, the Mayor of the village, Frank Dunn made a special presentation to Katie Campbell in recognition of her Silver Medal performance at the Canadian National Karate Championship, and for her placement on the National Junior team that will be competing in Santiago Chile this September. On Katie's left is her instructor Don Mazerolle sensei, and on her right is His Worship Mayor Dunn. On the week of Sept 1 to 8th, Don attended the Junior Pan American Karate Championships in Santiago Chile, where he was upgraded to Pan American kata Judge A and Kumite Referee A. In the picture are fellow Canadian Officials Antonio Terra {far left} and Brian James{Far right}  
   
  At the 2007 Tsuruoka National Karate Tournament held on October 26 and 27, 2007, in Kelowna, British Columbia, 13 members of the Oscar Leger Karate School competed, bringing home 19 medals in different categories. The following people listed on the attached picture are as follows:
First row: Sensei Oscar Leger, Coach(promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt-October 27, 2007), Nicolas Gautreau- Bronze medal for Kata, Silver medal for Kumite, Silver medal for Team Kata, Marilyn Ross-Silver medal for Team Kumite, Lynne Arsenault-Silver medal for Team Kata, Natalie Arsenault-Gold medal in Kata-Silver medal for Team Kata , Jean-Pierre Hache-Silver medal for Masters' men's Kata and Silver medal for Masters' Team Kata, Doug Atkinson(coach)
